Default Understanding the acronyms...

Hey all, not sure if this has been done before but I was thinking about starting a thread to explain what all these commonly used acronyms mean (for the newbies like me and the non-technical people that read these forums).

2DR = 2 door
4DR = 4 door
A/F = Air/Fuel Ratio
A/C = Air Conditioning
ABS = Anti-lock Braking System
ASD = Auto Shut Down Relay
ACG = Adjustable Cam Gears
ACT = Air Charge Temperature Sensor
AFC = Automatic Fuel Controller
AFPR = Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
AWD = All Wheel Drive
ACM = Airbag Control Module
AFR = Air to Fuel Ratio
BCM = Body Control Module
BHP = Brake Horsepower
BOP = Block off plate
BOV = Blow-off Valve
BPV = Bypass Valve
CAI = Cold Air Induction/ Intake
CB = Catalytic back (cat-back)
CC = Catch Can
CEL = Check Engine Light

PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation

PTB = Partial Throttle Boost
PVO = Performance Vehicle Operations
RWD = Rear Wheel Drive
S-AFC = Super Airflow Converter
SOHC = Single Overhead Cam
SMIC = Side Mount Intercooler

for the SHORT RAM SYSTEM, you might want to think that over. how about

SRI = Short ram intake (if thats what you are referring to)
some people might get SRS confused with SAFETY RESTRAINT SYSTEM

and also

TID = Turbo Intake Duct
FMIC = Front Mount Intercooler
FSM = Factory Service Manual
LSD = Limited Slip Differential
OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

04 blk srt10 ram (navigation+bedliner-no power mods)

04 srt10 viper red stock(got rid of the black one)

Did the original thread on this, that was started back when the site first started get lost? It was many pages long with definitions.

I think TT can stand for more than just turbo timer. It can stand for turbo toys or twin turbo.
