Default Totaled Comm.

Another one down. #186/200. I was going downhill on a road not speeding or anything when by breaks stop workin, they get hard and stiff. IN GEAR, the car is gaining speed like its in neutral. I then slowly pull the hand brake(panicked...and retarded...) and the car fish tails and runs into a light pole. Before this happened my car had some problems, it would rev itself to 1-2k rpm when in neutral and the boost gauge would show 0 psi even when the turbo was workin. Im thinkin ECU...any comments or w/e are welcome.

Damn dude that blows Think maybe you brake booster line came off causing you to have no breaks. If you have not modded you could have a case on your hands. Then again who does not mod.

Ill go ahead and be the first scavenger lol.

How much for the seats.

Seriously if its modded go back to stock and see what you can do. Take lots of pictures.

If that doesn't work i've got 5s on those front and rear sways if they're not all bent up.

manual brakes (loss of vacuum assist) will still let you slow down, you just need to push harder. sucks that you wrecked, but I don't see this happening just like you said unless you were doing something before hand, like some runs with high boost and you blew some lines loose, like the brake booster hose from the bottom of the intake manifold.

wasnt doing any high boost runs because i already knew there was a problem, just driving normal when all of it started happening. I was pressing on the brakes PRETTY hard but nothing was happening, was it cause it was downhill maybe? I'll keep you all informed once i found out what im going to do.

If you decide to part out, I personally feel the CE special parts (steering wheel, seats, etc..) should go to other CE owners who either need the parts or would like spares for just in case or daily wear..w/e. That said, I need some interior parts for my CE to restore it back to the condition it should be in.

Sorry for your loss.

the road i was on was quite steep, and has a VERY busy street intersecting it, the distance between me and the intersecting road was not long enough for down shifting to work, so i jus decided to ebrake before hitting it.
