Well yesturday i filled up with race gas and had a great race with another srt i didnt notice but i was at 160 in no time but then the car started feeling like it was holding back or dying out.....is the stock pcm supposed to do this to the car or is something wrong? cuz the other srt just kept going...i guess its cuz of his aem ems.
I thought it was ECU limited to 156 or something. I think I have seen people say that have gone a little over that but 160 sounds about right. Any system like the EMS or even the Diablo Pred. will allow you to adjust rev. limit and top speed though.
Hope you had some ZR's on

BRAVOPL POST ON HOW TO TEST FOR BOOST LEAKS:
"I'm sorry for an idiotic question. once i have this leak tester hooked up i start the car and then what? Do i just stand there and wait for some sort of whissle sound?"
the car has no mechanical or electrical limiters on it other than the rev limiter. the design of the car is what keeps the speed somewhat in check at 156mph due to drag(which means the car just won't go any faster unless more power is added), but that is in completely stock form. if you do anything, even something as small as just upping the boost on the stock turbo and that is it, you will be able to break that drag coefficient and bump it up according to what you have done to your car.

well im not stock, agp 3147 360hp lol...ecu problem right?
Never tried a stock pcm, but my stg2 car was electronically limited to 155mph. Pcm controlled everything, as soon as it hit 155, it dropped the boost to 7-8psi, like clock work.

Hope you guys are careful. I won't say I haven't done it but all it takes is something as small as a broken exhaust hanger from another car to break your stability.
