Ive upgraded to an aftermarket gauge after the stock one croaked 29 13.88%

It should be reading atmospheric pressure when the car is off (0). As for the degree it's off.....who knows. You shouldn't justify using a broken component for critical information.

03 SRT-4 39,000 miles and boost gauge is sitting at about 1-2 psi when off. Used to sit right at the end of the gray area but never right on zero. Will buy SW gauge soon .

Anyone else notice that there's almost a 50% failure rate on these things??

Also, this thread is nearly a year old. I wonder how many gauges have failed since then. The system won't let you change your vote

I just bought another 04 last week with 2100 miles. The boost gauge shows 10" vacuum when the car is off

New gauge is waiting at the dealer (warranty) If this one dies I will put a mechanical gauge in it's place.
