Well I'm off to the dealer to pick up my car after puting in the 3rd boost gauge.
Seems they start to rattle/buzz and dont show the propper boost.
Also show 10in vacuum when off.
How many people have replaced their gauges???
Mine broke right after i bought the car and dont want to hassle with the dealer. ide rather change it out my self. i dont trust dealer techs. i worked at a dealership and they dont respect customers cars. if they fuck something up they hide it and wont notify you and then blame the problem on the customer.
I'm buyin an 04' with 6003 miles on it on monday for 16,500.00 otd. The guage is also reading -10 vac. The sales guy said he will have it replaced first thing monday morning. How long does it take for them to replace that? Sorry for the Hi-Jack
dodge needs to send a memo to their dealers that these srt boost gauges suck. they ought to replace em with the 30/30 srt gauge.
I was fine with my stock gauge for 6 months. Just yesterday i changed to the 30/30 SRT gauge that Modern sells an dill tell you what...the stock gauge is a piece of crap. Im getting proper readings now fromt his gauge and i couldnt be happier.
june of 03 when I bought the car. just rolled over 40K miles. and I still have stock gauge. It sits barely below 0 when the car is off. (barley...it still points into the gray area)
about 2 and 1/2 months is how long mine lasted for, damn pos, i got it fixed under warranty it only took you know 4 days or something first they said it would be done the next day and then in turned into almost a week but hey w/e life goes on
