I will try the .030 tonight.. How do i tell if my wires are bad also? I was thinking maybe that was the problem, because I had a misfire code. 0300

Your misfire code could be from a bad plug...

Take the plug out and connect it to the wire and ground it out... See if you get spark...

i had this problem for a while with mine when i first bought the car.. i replaced the stock wires and coil for msd and changed the plugs to NGK iridiums. after that the car ran great. after about 6 monthes the stuttering started popping up again.. thinking maybe it was the wires I pulled them off to investigate. turns out the electrode inside the black boot on BOTH sides had receeded inwards a bit.. i realized then that i had been pulling the wires off quite frequently for cleaning/maintenance and because of that, the metal on metal contact with my DIS got worse and worse.

long story short i simply took some needle nose plyers and reached inside to pull the electrode out a little.. after that car ran smooth as glass once again.
hope this helps your problem

Dustin
