srt swap

i have a 2003 neon sxt. i have swapped in a 2005 srt motor but it did not come with the pcm. i was wondering if anyone knew what i would need to do in order to make it come to life. i have the key from the car that had the donor motor as well as the key from my car. i i bought a 2005 srt pcm and had the vin from my sxt flashed into it would it work?

Provided you have done everything else correctly, that should work.

That is incorrect...you can"t flash a srt pcm with a standard neon vin...You need the sentry module in the column, key, and pcm from the donor car installed into your car for that to work....The easiest way to make your car start, if you do not have all of the above, is to order a stage one pcm from flight systems, and unplug/remove the sentry module in the column of your car. You just use any standard srt vin when you place the order, it does not matter. As long as that pcm never sees sentry it will work just fine. You also get to keep your neon key that fits the doors and trunk.....it also eminates the towing trips to the dealer for drb scanning......
