Wing

Here is a myth that needs to be debunked. The wing is useful. The bugatti veyron (1001 hp; 9?? lbs torque; 0-60 in 2.7; top speed 400kph (250 or so MPH)) does not have a wing until it hits 135 mph then the wing kicks in automatically, and it is an F1 style wing. Our wing is a little curvy thing and our cars max out at 154 MPH. Why is this useful? I think it a little

sprint cars only reach about 70mph and their wing is highly useful Not all wings are created equal

You ever seen a sprint car wing? They really are 2 wings combined and are like 6 foot long and 2 foot tall. I don't think that is a very good comparison.

Yes, I'm quite aware at the difference, but not all wings do the same thing at the same rates so to say it's not useful is quite unfounded. In fact I have seen the SRT Engineers themselves provide the numbers on what the wing provides on the car (albeit wasn't much if I recall correctly)

Default Once and For all

If any one has any physical evidence that the wing is useful, post it here.

I was just saying that since this thread is supposed to debunk myths that it should be added. Either proven or otherwise.
