Well, what are your mods? Sounds to me like spark blow out. Or fuel cut, or bad tps. Please explain more.

nothing to do with mods. you have to learn your powerband u cant floor it in third gear going slow you have to drop it to 2nd and floor it. Its a turboed car. what your getting is like a spark blow out from too much air flow and low RPM if im not mistaken. If you keep doing it it will ruin stuff so stop. Learn your power band

ok full story, i just replaced the spark plugs today, they were are all black and grey, because the person that had it before me moved all the turbo hoses around to bypass something and it started making my car misfire whenever i would go full throtle at any gear and any speed...my friends dad reran all the hoses and it stoped doing it, except when im going slower, it only sputter alittle now. the guy said that the kid before me was making the car run full boost all the time by bypasing something which makes the computer push more gass in the moter all the time.......i have no idea but think im getting to much gass, plus i heard stage two gives u bigger injectors/?? give me your thoughts.....thanks

ok...heres the deal....you are stage 2 controlled...rip all your vac lines out and do a search on here for the reroute. controll the boost with your WGA. regap your spark plugs and only floor it when at higher RPM. end of story problem solved

read more carefully, i already did all that......do you know if there is away to control your fuel presure.... if there is no way, than its something else.....plus im not going that slow when it detonates prob 45, 50 in 3rd, and it will still do it. its not the powerband.... im not that retarded.....

yes....you are....First u start out saying when you floor it in third gear going slow it happens...now its because some kid rewired the whole car to...make the boost be at max at all times....now...you have all that fixed and you want to control your fuel. Buy a fuel return line or PTP FPR. and get a fuel controller or a map clamp. but im telling you right now.....that wont fix your problem. its spark blow out for a few different reasons. ONE is when you floor it going slow as you say meaning you take off in third gear at a low RPM. if that is not the case then its spark blow out because of your gap or plugs or both. what spark plugs are u using? whats their gap? you're making a HUGE issue out of a common problem and one that is easily fixed.

bingo thats your problem. order NGK's from modernperformance.com and gap them around .32 and do a search for the rewire for your vac lines. how did your friends dad know what went where and did he go by something? your car sounds like a ticking time bomb because of the people who have had it before you. you need to take it to someone to look at it. how far are you from daytona beach?

being a good mechanic doesnt mean he knows how to work on srt4's they are weird cars. and since u are modded with stage 2 its not stock anymore. you need to do alot of research on your car.
Click here for all your vac line diagram needs!
thats for your vac lines. and the reason why where u live is because me and some of my friends could look at your car to tell u when u need to do

I know I should replace both tranny and engine but I can't afford both at the same time,. so I have to do on before I do the other,.. and Im not sure which needs replaced first.. I think my tranny mount is completely shot.. but I dunno how to tell by looking at it..
