speed 3 vs srt4

i have a stock 2005 srt4 and my buddy has a ms3 his is stock from a roll or a dig which car is faster? any 1 race a ms3 stock for stock

Assuming all things are equal,

MS3(2008):
CW: 3,153
tq: 280 ft @ 3,300
hp: 263 @ 5,500

SRT4(2005):
CW: 2,900
tq: 250
hp: 230

I don't think 250 pound difference in CW kills a 33hp/30ft torque difference, but that's just my opinion. Race him and come back and tell us?

He'd probably spank you. Well, not spank.. probably 2-5 cars, depending on when you give up. If he's a really shitty driver, you might get him.

Keep in mind, the SRT was very underrated. Those numbers for the MS3
could be to the crank. Most SRT-4s make that kind of power (listed above)
to the wheels.

sry i kept finding pics of the ugly mazdaspeed for 2010 but mazdaspeed started in 07 and i race him and i was ahead the whole time by a fender but i was pulling slow at the end of 3rd little in forth then he let off race twice same on both runs hes mad that a 12000$ car beat his 27000$ car he still say its a neon but i let my car do the talking lol

Those numbers I posted originally for MS3 HAVE to be to the crank. While the SRT4's are to the wheels.

So your car(theoretically) would have almost 20hp more, and 15ft more torque. Not only that, his car also weighs 250 more pounds. I've never raced an MS3, but I would assume you should whoop the hell out of it. What I originally said should be reversed.. I would imagine you would take him by 2-5 cars, depending on dig/roll, and what you race to.

I'd be disappointed(personally) after seeing these numbers.. if I only beat him by a fender.

You raced from a roll.. and started in the 3rd low? That might explain why you didn't run him.

I just sold my 2008 ms3. Stock vs stock the srt-4 will start pulling after 100 mph. I owned a 2004 e-blue also.

I would say it's a drivers race. The cars are pretty equal speed wise stock for stock.
