Default sct xcalII?

does this programmer let you "tune" and upgrade your cars mods on the internet like with the Superchips Flashpaq? or do you have to acutally have to find someone to tune this for you?

It can come with "canned" tunes that dont allow any adjustments, or you can purchase the software what will allow you to completely tune the pcm.

dude i honestly have no clue about all the maps and stuff like that. do u have any suggestions as to whether or not i should get it or just take my car to a performance shop and have them retune my ecu? is the xcalII that hard to use?

It's easy to use by itself. All you do is plug it into your obd port under the dash and follow the prompts on the screen. They will take you through the process of flashing the pcm.
It's very difficult to use with the software. Check with some of the people using it in the sct forum. They're getting very good at the software, and are very helpful.
