quick tire question

heading to the store in 1 hour from work don't have time to search forum - will a 225/45/18 tire be ok or should I get a 40 ? They don't have a 40 in stock.

What rim do you have??

It all matters on what kinda rims you have and your suspension mods might come into play also. Like if your ride is slamed too low it might rub a bit when you go over bumps and stuff.
