Hi, I am looking to purchase a 04-05 srt4 soon, and there are a couple 04 srt4 at some dodge and chevy dealerships around me. They all seem to have anywhere between 30-38k on them, and they are around 13-14k. Each one is all stock, and i believe orginal owner. Anyways, i was looking for some help to see what to be looking out for when purchasing a srt4, like mods, how to test the tranny or motor, boost, ect. Can anyone help me out, thanks? this would be my first srt4, but not first boosted car
Search man..this is alot of info people have to write and waste there time. There should be a sticky to this. And if you know about boosted cars you should be fine. Stock srt ..thats funny! Thats like finding a needle in a haystack.

how much they want for the black one? dude post pics and if they are stock then that is a big + black looks sexier than red IMO
If it has a sunroof look for waterdamage cause my car has had 3 brandnew sunroofs put in all leak. From what I read its not the best idea to have one in a neon.

this is why i search long and hard to find one with out a sun roof
I have a silver stage 1 for sale...its a 2004 with only mopar performance products added (very stock). NO boost controllers or any of that crap so the car has never been overboosted. It only has 9,687 miles on the car. FOR REAL. I know its hard to believe and even harder to find. I need to sell the car and pay down some debt (primarily student loans). Im willing to let it go for $14000 out the door know questions asked. Thats the same price you will find on cars with much more mileage. My name is Derek and Im willing to work with anybody on getting the car, not too interested in trading though. If you know anybody looking for a good deal on this car then give them my number. You can reach me at (423)316-6524 if I dont answer leave a message. I live in the northwest corner of Georgia in a town called rossville. Real close too chattanooga TN. Im willing to drive you the car or arrange a pickup of some kind.
I also have a 2004 electric blue im willing to sell. However this one is my everyday driver and has everyday driver damage unlike the silver car. it is at 67K miles and has alot of mods. Probly at 295hp. Im willing to let it go for $12000 out the door.
Im only selling ONE though. Its just whichever I can sell first (because I dont mind keeping either one).
Dont be shy, give me a call. (423)316-6524 and ask for Derek. I dont think the silver one will last too long.

I know a lot of people with sunroofs in this car and we've never had this problem.
Yeah,
It is all about how long you search. I looked for almost 6 months until I found the one that I wanted but I got a 2004 SRT-4, Flame red with only 22k miles on it and almost completely stock for only 13k from a dealer.
I almost purchased one last week...black with 35k for 13,900, but things didnt work out so im looking at around april when i have a little more money saved
