Default please help might be a boost leak

ok i went to the track today with my buddy we both have srt-4's mine is an 03 with full 3in exhaust catless and he has a bone stock 05 this is our time slip first race
left right
rt .285 .309
60' 2.57 2.39
330 6.699 6.518
1/8 9.863 9.819
mph 77.98 74.66
1000 12.516 12.557
1/4 14.78 14.897
mph 101.95 92.26
i was in the right lane we both had wheel hop bad and i got out of it first and after 8th mile it seemed like my car just lost power and i had like a half a car on him and he passed me like i wasnt moving the second race i did i had some one record my boost and i was only boosting 10 maybe 11 lbs and started hard and after 8th mile just lost power so the reason for this thread i was woundering if i might have a boost leak some were but when i was on the free way and smashed on it i was spiking to like 14 to 15 lbs holding it

i got a similar problem man mine will boost 15-16 sometimes then others 10-11 and slowly drops.....
for answers!!

what do you have controlling your boost? PCM, boost controller, wastegate?

nothing stock boost everything the only think not stock on my car is the exhaust and a rice plate

Well, if everything is stock. I would check all your clamps. A lot of the stock worm clamps like to come undone over time. Just go in and retighten them and see if that helps with anything.

definitly check for leaks.. Those times are terrible. Especially the 60 fts. the car that trapped 101 probably just needs the driver mod..

yeah i did four runs and i think my best was 14.7 and his was like 14.2 so i will have to look for leaks and look for lose fittings

that would be up to you. if you can make one. then make one. if you don't want to make one and just spend the money on someone else's craftmenship. then go that route.

Definitely get t-bolt clamps perform a boostleak test and then ziptie all your vacuum lines as tight as you can. And last but not least either put high temperature copper seal.

Or just take the other route and just put back on the bypass plate and remove the mopar bov plate since the plate when not properly seals creates a leak under pressure. I would get an aftermarket bov like hks or leave it stock.

im thinkin of goin back to stock and taking the plate off

hey did you ever fix the boost leak? im subscribed to this thread to know the outcome. i need to get as much info as i can so i can get a decent SRT4 for myself and figurre out if it has any problems i need to be aware of .
