P0172 on stock setup

Heyas,

My car threw an engine code after making a jerking/stumbling feeling on the highway and then if i tried to give it gas the pedal would go down and nothing would happen at all.

I pulled over turned car off and back on and it atleast would let me rev and get back home but it still felt hesitant when i got on the gas.

The code us P0172 which i understand is too rich fuel?

Any suggestions, I am on a stock setup with an air intake but that has been on there for months. I haven't changed anything over the last few months.
