Default Need 400HP Advice

I will be going 50 trim this summer and was wondering what mods I should do to ensure safety and give preperation for that kind of power to the engine. Besides the obvious. I have a w/b and scan gauge in the car. I also have a Walbro, and stage 2 injectors. Alot say the DCR oil mod is a smart choice. Any ideas?? I am looking for 350 for my pump gas set-up, and 400 with meth occasionally at the track. Also, is our stock internals strong enough to last a while with power like that. Keep in mind I will be running everything safe. Thanks.

Internals should be good. DCR oil kit is always a good idea when going for big hp but I still havent gotten it. U already have a wideband so your good there. Are you going with PCM controlled everything???

My suggestion would be to do a search for all the other 50 trim builds. There are tons and after reading through, taking a look at their setups and so forth, you should have a good idea of what you'll need.

Personally i wouldnt worry about the DCR oil kit until 450hp, but to each their own and it is your motor, so its always better safe then sorry.
also deffinately atleast cut the balance shaft chain.
you can deffinately make more then 400hp even with a .48AR if you wanted to.
but as for mod suggestions:
return line
RC 750CC injectors
i like the greddy profec spec b boost controller
something to tune with, d-tec, s-afc2, SCT, EMS
3" exhaust
DCR oil modifier
hard pipes with BOV
A good clutch, SBC
3" intake of course
a ported intake mani, throttle body and spacer will be a good idea
that will be more then enough

if you were going to go with the flash i'd suggest getting some 750's just because theres more canned flashes out there for that size injector

AGP SCT Flash is $700 w/ the MAP and TIP sensors

i just don't understand why an upgraded oil pump wasn't included in the stage 3 kit if it was neccesary for over 300HP. the stg 3 in HOM makes 355hp. that is well above stock levels. the SRT engineers are not clueless when it came to making this car. so why would they miss something as important as lubrication from the oil pump?? the car has been around since 2003, and i'm sure they tested the hell out of the stage three b4 selling it to the public.

U can use stock pcm and use a piggy back system. Thats what I am doing. And I dont think u need to upgrade a new oil pump. Check out the AGP stage 4 kit. It has everything, but u can also just build it urself.
