Default just a few questions, and some issues...

hey guys,

i just have a few questions... i've had my car for a little more than a year, and this summer i have started doing a few mods...

-agp wastegate
-aem short ram intake
-msd coil pack
-catch can
-1.9/2.1 drop
-yokahama tires

ok, my problems are as follows...

1. after lowering my car, the left front now makes this loud clunking sound when turning (sometimes) and when hitting even small bumps...

2. while the wheels were off i noticed some fluid on the strut/control arms? oil?

3 as of wednesday, when i drive down the road, and push the clutch in, the tac goes down to 1500, then to 2500 then back to 1500 then back to 2500...??? also, when i shift, the car stays reving at around 2000 then slowly drops down to normal...???

i tried searching, and i couldnt really find the answers i was looking for, so, if someone could possibly direct me in the right direction that would be great???

thanks guys...

I can help you with #3. Turn your car on and wiggle the TPS wires on the throttle boddy and see if it revs up, if so you will have to contact S&P for a fix. (its cheap)

Ah, okay, I'm buying the S Drives and getting them installed this weekend, hopefully the Yokohamas are good tires.

By lowering the car you have managed to prematurely wear the cv joint or tripod joint on one of your axles.
If your '04 was built before Jan '04 then you probably have the early design '03 axles. These have been redesigned
and the 04-05 part number is a direct swap. These axles failing is a common occurrence. I just replaced mine last week.

By lowering the car you have managed to blow a seal in one of your struts (not uncommon with the stock oem strut).

As mentioned above, you have the very common Throttle Position Sensor (broken wire) issue. Buy a repair kit, and have someone with some soldering skills help you out.
