Default i have RATS!

its true! lately i have been hearing a weird wooshing noise over by my passenger tire, almost like water spraying up[ and hitting the wheel well. this would be normal if i wasnt moving.. so anyway i pop the hood to make sure its not a hose or something, everything is fine. a little later i was drivng and noticed water dripping onto the floor of the passenger side from the dash. so i take off the blower fan assembly because thats where the water was coming from. and behold! a fuckin rat, somehow got in there and blended up. all that was left was its head and some skin and fur lol. weirdest thing is, i smelt nothing. and i have people in my car all the time and no one mentioned anything. but now its still leaking water i think so it may have chewed its way in there or something. gonna take dash off and check all hoses tomorrow.

I feel your pain. I'd had my srt-4 for about 3 months when I noticed a smell like someone was burning trash every now and then. I checked a couple of times and couldn't find anything. Well one day when I was at work I see the biggest damn rat I had seen climb out from under the car and run off. Little bastard had chewed up the battery insulation and made a nest on my turbofold.

Was it parked? I can't see how it would survive the heat...

Fuck! I recently had a squirrel build a nest on top of my transmission while my car was down for a month or so. I killed about a dozen of the bastards in my yard after finding it and haven't had any more problems.

HAHA that great. Ive pulled alot of incabin filter out of Nissans (where I work) and found nest. I had to rip out all the duct work in a quest van bc it was the happen place i guess. every duct was fulled to the max with shit and nesting stuff.

Dosent beat the time, our master tech took a blower motor out for the saem reason you had too, and found the nest. Put it back in turned it on and heard this clunk from the fan. Took it back apart and found a mouse that just had its life ended

I had it in the shop for about 4 days for new clutch, tob, tob fork and tranny seal. but before that it was in my driveway for a good week or so.
