24 is not that bad, while the norm with a good properly tuned up and workign car is around high 20s ( ie over 25) 24 is not horrible. it just needs to be tuned up/checked out to see why the engine is less efficient at power production.
soem things could be the cat is becoming clogged, a injector with less then optimized spray pattern/clogged end, plugs are old and or fouled, wires are jumping spark, O2 sensor is old and worn, both upstream and downstream can cause this, downstream moreso as it monitors cat efficiency and verifies it is at optimal temperature, which means if the cat needs to get htter, it will use MORE fuel to ignite it in the exhuast to ramp up catalyst temp. |

I just took mine for its first highway road trip. Running 80-85 most of the way with the ac on, I was able to net 32.62mpg. I have no doubt that if I ran 65-70 it would be better

Yea Idk wat it is. Replaced plugs, wires, coilpack, seafomed the car,got an alignment tire pressure is good. Idk wat else. Maybe a clogged fuel pump or injectors maybe. Some told me they changed their belts and water pump and it helped. I have all those parts just need to install them.

No its actually recommended for our cars by a lot of people. I only put some in my gas tank and some in ny oil. I heard the best results is to put it in the vac line connected to your im.

i check mine with an infered temperature gun. I compare temps after a few trips and see if one rear or one front is significantly hotter than the other. I have found 2 front passenger, and a rear passenger sticking in the last 7 years. Actually the 1st one I found was because my oil temperature gauge was showing 230 degrees, when the day before on the same drive, same speed, same ambiant temps, I was getting 195 degree oil temps. The added strain on the motor added heat to the oil
