suspension and chassis stiffening play a VITAL role in putting big power to the ground. A good tuned suspension and a very stiff chassis will allow for less weight transfer keeping the weight over the drive wheels where it needs to be.

There really is no hope for the SRT-4 to have good traction beyond the 300whp level without a set of heated up slicks. You can mitigate the problem with motor and tranny mounts, coilovers or good struts and lowering springs traction bars, some other suspension mods I forget and wider tires. You can go as wide as 245 with the right rims and coilovers and it doesn't look dumb. I recommend the falken azenis as the stickiest street tire. I run them in the 225/45r17 size and I have traction at the top of second sometimes. I only have 297whp/348wtq. Bfg makes a DR in the same size, but they only lasted me a month and a half.

like said above, gear dependent boost, 26x10.5x16's (the sleeper) street dot slicks, good setup chassis(roll cage, coilovers, traction bars, solid lca's, etc.)... basically high hp srt's on the street need alot of cash to stick anything below like 80mph
