Some whistle, some whine, some sound like exhaust. The smaller the opening, the louder the whistle would be tho.

mine makes a sound kind of like this but its anytime i get into boost it sounds like the bov is going off( i have the rice plate). I used to spike 20 and hold 17 and now i dont boost over 15. i tightened all the piping and checked all the vaccum lines and it still makes this sound. Anyone have an idea what it could be?

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago. The problem was (atleast for me) the filter on my CAI was not on all the way and it wasn't tightened down. After I made sure the filter was on all the way and tightened the shit out of it, the "supercharger whine" went away.

Tea pot mod... I think thats more important than the driver mod. I can hear my turbo now, at 5 vacuum... Sounds like a friggin diesel. That normal? I cut the bottom of the stock airbox off, so it sounds like an aftermarket intake.

Mine wines when i accelerate in first only what is it, sounds like its coming from the drivers side in the engine bay.

^ yeah its def on the driver side in the engine bay. I actually noticed i have a boost leak. Where the hot side intercooler pipe goes into the intercooler. Its actually rubbin up on the tranny and ripped a whole in it. Im thinkin it might just be the intake and since theres a leak itsa causing the turbo to work alot harder and is causeing the whine.
