Mine has the Tea Pot mod too. Sounds like it comes from the dash/boost gage almost like it's telling me to shift!

Mine is from my cai. The very edge of pipe right before the attachment to the turbo is bent putting a | <-- kinda thing right in front of the turbo.

I figure the rush of air passing over this cause a very audiable whisltle, I removed it to verify and its deff because of the intake

Minw whistles too, always has even when I was stock turbo, it's the intake, JMB with K&N, just think how much air is being sucked into the motor during a WOT run! Aldo i am thinking with all the vacuum ports sticking out here and there with that level of air blowing by over the openings that it makes the noise, like blowing over the top of a soda bottle.......

OK, it sounds like the wastegate. Not the WGA, but the actual internal flapper. The part where the shaft comes thru the mani makes a whistle sound when the gate opens to limit boost. External wastegates sound the same, but vent with a tube, instead of back into the mani. Mines done it since day one. Heard it on a few SRTs...

May be wrong, but thats what I am thinking. Any shaft like that is gonna have a bit of leakage, and thats about the right sound. Especially gonna leak after a few thousand miles as that area will wear a bit and leak more. Like the bleed air valves on F-15s.

Thats cool tho, makes the skittle sound like an externally gated turbo!
