guys...
it's the pressure tube for the mechanical boost gauge.
that tube has like a dozen fittings and unions from the time it leaves the engine bay until it gets to the gauge. one or more of them leaks ever so slightly.

Yeah but i hear it on the driver side in the engine bay. I think its the CAI but i just want to be sure. Theres a very good chance its that vac line but mine sounds a little loud for it to be coming from a vac line.

yep - it appears to be coming from the engine bay, and doesn't happen during a boost leak check, so i don't think it's the gauge lines.

i cant be maxing out my turbo i got a 50 trim and only runnin like 16-18psi depending on weather.

Bump for answers. My car started doing this after the shortblock was replaced under warranty. Boost leak tested the other day with no leaks.

My stock turbo used to do that with my AEM short ram intake. For me, it was just air passing through the intake. It randomly went away with the S3.

I dont thinks it the mopar bov, I switched the rice plate with the boomba bov and it does the exact same thing. I will try and get a clip of the sound.

i already made a video w/ my brother while i was in second, but the problem is i have vista and im trying to get the video on my computer. I got a firewire cable and when i get home tonight hopefully ill get a video at least of what mine sounds like.
