just don't drive like a complete idiot on the way home and you should be good..... wait who am I kidding your picking up your SRT your gonna get on it at least once, lets just hope the cops aren't around for it
I agree you drive home not acting crazy and you will be fine. I doubt a cop is going to be like "oh crap an SRT4...lets catch him and run his tag..oh snap he has no tag lets pull him over". Seriously I have done it with a friend multiple times picking up cars in various places. All thats needed is the paperwork showing a "point of sale" that someone sold you this car only a day ago. As long as you have paperwork or something to show a cop if they pull you over you will be fine. I have only been pulled over once and thats when I was in a R34 Skyline. I just showed them the papers I had from the person I made the transaction with and thats all they needed to know.
just for the record, I have a clean driving record (no tickets on my record.. got a ticket when I was 16 for improper lane change that was thrown out of court)
..one other time I got a ticket for no front plate but that was a (parking violation and not a moving violation).. cop I think was pissy he didn't clock me for speeding and needed to get me on something...
so I have no intention of going faster than posted speed limits (except maybe by 3 or 4mph over)
..
Helpfull piece of advise. DON'T drive thru NJ or even part of it. The cock suckers will impound it. I legitimitly forgot to renew my reg was out of date by a month. Showed him the expired reg, my licence and insurance card and they still impounded it. NJ cops are 10000% assholes.

thanks for that tidbit..
I just double checked and I do NOT have to drive through NJ at all..
I-84 W via EXIT 32A toward WATERBURY (Passing through NEW YORK- then crossing into PENNSYLVANIA).
..it is actually Ohio I'm a bit worried about.. they seem to be a bit crazy with being 'tire police' and other stuff like that.. although I heard PA is strict too.
I live in CT and I drove from Canada to CT without a plate, insurance, or registration after buying my car. Was it a stupid move? Of course it was but luckly I didn't get pulled over.
yes.. I'm home already and I did NOT buy from a 'stealership' ..not with their pricing.. I looked at one at a local dealership (an 04 with 50k miles).. it was beat to hell... had a check engine light and felt completely lacking in power... but the dealership wanted $18,500 for it... I just about LMAO on that one.. nothing good enough local thus I flew out to where the car was!
