just got my ptp wga, so i decided to put it on. just finishing up by bolting the bottom bolt, and i effing dropped it. didnt here it bouncing around too much. looked underneath with my fingers crossed, and nothing. so i jacked the car up and looked and felt around and nothing. is it possible for the bolt to go underneath the manifold and get wedged in between the heat shield and manifold? any thought on where it could be?

On the bottom heat shield = GONE! Just go buy some new ones at the auto store. I can look up the # for you if needed.

i just got back from napa because i had to buy some fuel line for the wga, but anyways, the guy hooked me up with a bolt and washer for free, just charged me for the fuel line.
that would be awesome if you could look up the p/n for me though man. the one the guy gave me is red, i would much rather have an oem looking one instead of one read one and one oem colored one. i know its not that big of a deal but stuff like that is an eye dore to me, especially with the wga being the center of attention when i pop my hood.
okay this really suck now, i dropped the bolt they gave me once again, and it is lost, but the washer they gave me fell to the bottom.
so i went back and got 3 bolts and 3 washers for 2.04. so when i got home i took the 1 that i had been using out, and compared them. the ones they gave me were about 1/2" too long. so i went back and got the "right" ones, got home, these ones were about 1/4" longer than the stock ones. i tried them and they didn't tighten enough, so i put 2 washers on, and it works for now, but i will defintly be picking up the right size ones tomorrow. and to make matters worse i dropped one of the heat shield bolts and can't find that one. i've had the worse day today, usually i dont drop anything at all. this effin sucks and all i wanted was 2 oem bolts.
yep gone... good news is u will prob drop it on the highway while driving... i lost my greddy catch can bracket between my intercooler and radiator... i have yet to find it... hahhahaha

I was replacing my air filter the other day and one off the bolts of the cover popped off while I was tilting it up to install the new one. I looked everywhere for that thing. Gone and gone. Can't get a replacement unless you order the top cover for 60 bucks who well..Home Depot here I come.
I used to run an AGP wga and while adjusting the arm while my hands cooked from the exhaust manifold I dropped the wrench. It fell in a fucked up place so I ended up driving. I tried making some quick turns left/right in the parking lot but it didnt fall. So I head out to the street and as i was changing lanes (35 mph) I heard it fall. I hit the brakes, and reversed and my friend looked around and found it. It was night time and not that much traffic, so I used the headlights to illuminate the street.
Today I noticed I left my megnetic pickup tool by the window blades. I was driving around like that for a couple days now lol.
