That's really anyone's guess. A production line is a fluid and changing environment.

Are we talking front or rear axle? My 2004 was built in March of 2004, i.e., presumably two thirds of the way through the model year. Is that some evidence of the newer design?

Hmmm. Do you mean to tell me that my SRT-4 is FWD? Horrors.

Seriously though, thanks for the clarification.

I understand.

Thanks Nivo,

There have been threads on the cut-over dates. I believe it was narrowed down to the Feb-March '04 time frame.

Dodge seeks $19,995 for the no-extras example pictured here. (Side airbags are the only option at $275.)

Okay. . . I put a floor jack under one side of the car, crawled under the car this evening (with jackstands supporting the car for the sake of safety, and inspected the axle with a print-out in hand. Mine has the 2004 and later axle design.

why do you say that? you didn't buy the sunroof option so you didn't get that or the oh shit handles, which only come with the sunroof. I have a mid-march build and have the yellow cap (I think, covered in bird feathers right now), had sliders on the radio, presume I have stronger axles, and still the original boost gauge.

monday car perhaps?
