Since I'm not on the list, I figured I should post.
Thanks for shouting out...
but "COMMEMORATIVE" is mis spelled in your sig
Where did you get that picture of the car?
Oops... don't know what I was thinking there LOL.
Actually, I made it, some what. There were only a few colors of the pictures available in the thread mentioned above, at the time and white wasn't one of them. So I used an unaltered red picture and changed the color to white and added the stripes. Man, was that tedious, but well worth it, I think.
anyone got or know someone with a comme edition with tint tail lights want to see how looks like.
I don't have an answer for that, but I was messing a little with a picture of my commemorative tag, and I got this for you:
I could probably make a better one if I had a more squared off picture, this one was a little off center. Anyways, just thought I'd post it, I didn't know if your dealer ever got off his ass and sent you a replacement yet.
I managed to find mine in March 06! Somehow it was still around. Got it for $2,200 under sticker with moderate bargaining techniques.
I love how distinctive it is. I have a hard time believing that prices will actually go up, but if they do that'd be great.
I just turned 10,000 miles this week too.
I'm glad this is a sticky!
Hey there!! You have some excellent photos and a great webpage for your neons. Nice looking 1st gen with the blue stripes too!
I saw you sent me a pm with a question about geographical locations for all the cars, I'm currently working on a spreadsheet that I'll convert to html and add to a website, that will have more info like that. I'll gauge it by interest here if it's worthwhile.

the car's value will depend on it's condition. becuase it is a numbered car, it will be worth slightly more than another 2005 in similar condition, weather it's value will increase, time will tell. take for example the 80's turbo mopars. only a handful have become collectibles and started to increase in value (ie: iroc r/t daytona's).
hey everybody! i have number 183. add me to the list. it has viper seats and sunroof. i just added kicker. its a sharp car and i love it. i'll post pics of it soon with my wheels i bought for it. btw is only has 3400 miles on it.
Hey all comm. edition owners. Check out my thread in the buy sell parts section because i am willing to pay $400 and give you my seat covers, floormats, shift boot, and steering wheel if you give me your blue stitched parts. All of mine are in perfect condition. If you think $400 is too low, make me a reasonable offer, because i REALLY WANT THESE PARTS

Good Luck with that. Aside from the Paint Stripe, that's what makes these cars special. There have been a couple of them wrecked, so you may want to seek those cars out...
I for one wouldn't do that swap for any amount of money.
