They are totalling that out? Is there severe body stress or something, because from the pictures it really doesn't look that bad. Damn, someone who knows more about insurance and body work should come in here and make a comment, if there is anything you can do to try and get insurance to fix it, they total out like EVERYTHING these days for some reason.

I'm sorry to hear about your car man shitty deal

The oil pan had a hole in it and a motor mount was broke along with the intercooler. thats all I know of for sure right now but I can only imagine how much more undercarriage damage there was...

Apparently, the Transmission in the SRT-4's are no longer covered under warranty...DCX needs to stop screwing their Customers over!

Although that stuff sounds bad, that's all minimal to body shops, I'm guessing you tweaked the frame hard, did the doors open up off center or was the roof or body panels tweaked in areas that weren't hit by anything but appeared twisted?

Not sure what was damaged yet, Ill let you know when I get the report from the shop. I hit the bottom of the river bed pretty hard...my back has been sore as can be since. I think the engine may have been damaged from the abrubt stop from a 10-15' drop. I mean DCX uses some crap bolts and cast, we all know that.

Well, take care of your body first man, even if you don't believe in what chiropractors do, I can tell you first hand that spending 50 bucks for a visit to one when you have problems like this will totally change your mind. Just putting that out there. I go to one whenever I have something out of wack, usually from lifting weights, just saw mine last week and wow I felt 100 percent better within a couple of hours.

I hope as far as the car goes that you get things sorted out. Still a crummy deal.

Yah, it does seem like it, freaking Dodge is backordered on them by something like SIX FREAKING MONTHS, no one has them anywhere. You'd think an extrusion shop or whatever they call those plastic shops, that would want to make money, would go ahead and create a cast for them, because there's big bucks to be made there. LOTS of people need them

Thanks RTShadow. XXxx_totmacher_xxXX and myself had discussed starting a similar thread a while back, but were too lazy to do it. I won't hold any grudges over the whole car salesman thing either by-the-way

My last two digits of my VIN match. The last three are 235. I have seen a couple that didnt' match up right, but most do. James(XXxx_totmacher_xxXX) ends in 216(#16) and I sold it to him. I was told by my DCX dealer rep at the time that a few(no exact #s) had been destroyed in the hurricane, so I'll take the blame for that rumor. I was also under the impression that the CE didn't have any options aside from SRS, but XXxx_totmacher_xxXX's doesn't have the the Kicker stereo, and it does have the Viper seats. His is the only one I know of like that so far(speak up if I'm wrong). We've actually had three of the CE in the same driveway at the same time. There is a picture floating around somewhere I think. I find it funny that I traded in my perfectly good '04 Flame Red with 8000 miles on it for the CE so I could have something different, and ended up being one of three in my local crew(at least I was First). I8URV8 would be the third.

Thanks again for the CE Sticky RT!

I'm really confused about the kicker stereo not being in that car. Every Commemorative Edition was supposed to have the kicker stereo in it.

Well that's two that we know of that don't. I originally thought(was told by DCX Dealer rep) that all of them would have SRS and Kicker, because they didn't want to retool for different options on such a short production run.

You should expand this thread to incluse the setup

Kicker: No
Seats: Viper
Sunroof: Yes

Yeah someone with a month of carfax could easily locate the tottaled/salvaged status of probably 75% of them since it's only the last few didgets and another single didget towards the middle that change. I'm to busy working on cars to do that stuff ; P
