no way! i would even hate to hear about someone selling those parts. i saw some idiot a standard 4 door neon, prolly a 99' today in Omaha, who had the viper stripes painted on it...and it made me so angry! i mean...come on...it wasnt even a SRT4! Just to look flashy... it didnt even look good, and it takes away from the few who actually have these awesome rides!
just take your stuff to a place that specializes in automotive upholstery and have them restitch in blue. simple as that. cost will probably be close to the $800 + trade your offering.
Also my dad is the happy owner of number 38 I'll try to post a pic later but he's not a member yet I been trying to get him up here, I even did the brake cable fix to his car it was being crushed by the clutch peddle too.
hmm...I guess I could do that, I just want it done right and I don't know of any good places
you have several options:
a)flip through one of your favorite muscle car mags, and you will find numerous companies that specialize in interior restorations. Legendary Interiors in NY comes to mind. send them your covers along with pics of comm. ed. interior's and they should be able to take it from there. if they can take on national certified/ recognized gold car restorations, this should be a breeze.
b) find a local place and drop the car off to do whats described in option a
c) get a comm ed VIN# and just go to the dealer/ supporting vendor (s&p or mpsc) and order up what you want. this will probably be the easiest, but not necessarily cheapest
i think i'm going to go with option A, considering the regular seat covers are like 500+ per seat and about 600 for the back row...thanks man for the Legendary Interiors company i'll check them out...when its all said and done ill post pics..but it wont be for months
Just a reminder for you commemorative owners out there:
Notice where I circled "SRT Track Experience" in blue? That's a $300 item you paid for with the cost of your vehicle, to attend the high performance driver's course. There's a thread about it in this section actually:
"The SRT Track Experience is an exhilarating new instructional racing program conducted by the Skip Barber Driving School and offered exclusively to all Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep SRT vehicle owners. Instructors will conduct day-long classroom sessions and driving clinics, promising superb instruction in a thrilling environment. Participants will test their driving skills on a road course, drag strip and skid pad with a variety of SRT vehicles, including the Dodge Viper SRT10. The inaugural event takes place in Florida at the Daytona International Speedway, Saturday and Sunday, May 14–15, 2005, and will continue to visit at least 20 major racetracks across the nation. For more information or to register, contact SRT Program Headquarters at 1-800-998-1110 or e-mail info@srttrackexperience.com"
I know quite a few of you know about this being a free deal we get with our cars, but I know some of the guys don't know about it. You have 2 years from the date of purchase, so get out there and take advantage of this. I'm going to drive 8 hours this summer just to experience it, it's free, what do you have to lose?
***EDIT: FORGOT TO MENTION, this isn't JUST for commemorative owners, this is for all owners whose cars were either purchased or built after a certain date, not sure which, just check your window sticker and it will tell you (if you were smart enough to hold onto it )

That's a good find, HNDAH8R, I have CommEd148 as the listed owner of that car but obviously he's traded it in on something else. Unfortunate, I'll note that as a car with an unknown owner on our list now. Thanks.
Yeah so I just bought mine, picked it up in Dayton, Ohio. I have owned it for a whole 6 days now (picked it up 3/23/07) one week after having surgery for a ruptured disc. The three hour drive to get the car was so painfull but the drive home in my CE was amazing! Now I have to find out what the previous owner modified on the car. So far I know it has the stage 1 kit installed, Mopar 3'' Borla designed exhaust, HKS blowoff valve, Mopar lower springs, Mopar Cold air intake, a Monster intercooler, a Greddy catch can, and A Mopar short throw shifter. Oh yeah an Apexi turbo timer! One thing that I have that no one else has is the sweet SRT windshield decal. HAHA!!! It makes number 88 stand out from the pack. Oh yeah I have Mopar taillights. The black rims on the car have to go so if anyone knows of someone with a stock set of SRT-4 rims that wants to Trade for some Eneki or however you spell it rims let me know.
I am thinking about doing my sunroof with a graphic like that also, but just with white and blue stripes so it looks like the car's stripes are connected throughout the roof
Wow that windshield banner is actually pretty cool. I haven't seen something that like ever.
That SRT logo is actually part of an SRT Track Experience Decal that all the demo cars have on them. When i went to the track experience you could buy them for about $10. It looks like they just cut off the part that says "Track Experience" and just used the logo on top of the vinyl windshield banner. I actually have three of the decals sitting in the closet. I'm trying to decide what to do with them, but they are not for sale as of yet, so please don't ask.
