Hey guys..

Chiming in after being away for a couple of years.
I am 95% sure I am buying HemiSteve's fathers car tomorrow.
It is number 119. The price is $16,200 but I see Steve posted on here that it was in a very minor accident. The repairs look to be quality. The mileage is 37,375. Just out of warranty.. hmmm.

How much do you think is a fair price guys? It seems to be in very good shape. No dents or dings.
Dealer did not disclose to me that it was in an accident.

VIN= 1B3ES66S4D252119 Carfax shows the accident. Owner hit another vehicle. Front end damage, no air bag deployment. The stripes are perfect on the car.

Wish me luck.. I sent him a pm for any and all info on the car. If anyone knows him, please ask him to reply. I need to know if i am heading into any troubles.

Craig

Doesn't seem like too bad a price. You can always pay a little to have a Dodge Dealer check the car out if you'd like.

Craig, look at the core support and under side of the hood to check if the emissions decals are there. if they're not, it will give tyou a clue as to how hard the car was hit as 90% of the colliosn repairs ive seen dont have these decals. also look for the grey foam blocks on top of the fenders by the hood hindges, as, agian, most of the time when fenders are replaced, these are left off

All,

Evan, Steve's dad ended up calling me while I was at the dealership. He was VERY helpful in providing all the history of the car. Apparently it was a very minor accident with bumper cover and front light in the front and bumper cover and exhaust in the rear. Who ever fixed it did an amazing job we both agreed. I checked for rust and did not see any.

I purchased the car. The emergency brake is being adjusted and the car is being detailed. I pick it up on Monday.

The car has the mats, the booklet, original window sticker and commemorateve # badge. Best of all Evan said it has never been modified which was a relief to hear. Overall the car has been adult owned and very well taken care of with the interior looking virtually brand new.

A sincere thank you to Steve and Evan for your help!

Silver is not a commemorative edition, and does not belong on this thread.
