nice trade. i love the X and would never consider a IX over a X. the doors alone on the X give it a much more upscale look over the IX.

All the X naysayers need to come down to AZ and see AGP's shop EVO. It's plenty fast.

At DTM (my local shop) they made 75+ hp just off exhuast, mbc, and an intake. so its still cheap power. Ill post pics of the Evo X later tonight.

holy cow this is awesome.. can we get a full line of pics thx

ok... time to think.

you're enjoying the 'upscale look,' but you're looking at a lancer. a mid-upper 30k lancer. not a 27k lancer. not a 17k lancer. a 37k lancer. if you want an 'upscale look,' there are other vehicles out there in that (or close) price range.

if you want a well built, fun to drive albeit expensive boy-racer, the evo is what you want.

if you want an 'upscale look,' look elsewhere.

yes, the srt4 is a boy racer, but at a boy racer price.

For anyone who has not driven an EVO X, I suggest doing so before comparing it to the IX. I was skeptical at first until I actually saw what one can do on the track.

Some say the IX is more pure than the X, and that may be true. The X responds to mods extremely well, and while the stock turbo won't go quite as far as the IX's stock turbo car, up until the stock X turbo maxes you it is right on par with the IX.

when i said upscale i just meant new evo vs old evo.

to me the pre-X evos looked like a 1990 ford escort sedan with the square flatish doors. at least the "pos" srt neon has a few curves and contours. that being said, i'd probably take a bmw 1 series.
