Best advice is still to go check it out, take as many pictures of the interior and exterior you can (high res, so we can look close up) then take it for a drive. Get a good feel for how it shifts, sounds, rides, etc.

Come back, post up the pictures and give us your impression/review. It's ALWAYS a bad idea to rush into any car deal. If this one doesn't pan out, there will be others. Remember that and you'll be fine.

Just keep in mind you are buying a used turbo car . If it's modded that means it has been raced....check the oil, check the tires, check the pcm codes. From what i can see it doesn't look like it has been abused

Looks like there is a manual boost controller by the back of the intake, just off the wastegate actuator. That intake is stock without the box and he has added a KN airfilter.

Hope that helps a little.

That is something. I can't make it out cause I don't have photoshop on my laptop.

The Manual boost controller is bronze thing to the left of the intake. It controls how much boost you will have.

Looks like he did a vacuum reroute to. I don't even see the solenoid. I see the TIP line, Green Line and thats it. When you go back; like S2R0T044 said take some closer pictures of the engine bay. We can't help without it.

I did check out the Emmon's website and the interior looked completely stock. When shifting if your hand doesn't almost hit the radio / lower rear defroster bezel you have a short throw shifter.

That waste gate actuator looks too new for an 04, which would explain the vacuum reroute....id say the previous owner was running an after market one than either they or the dealer replaced it with a stocker. Honestly its hit or miss with these cars. The engine can take the abuse but its better to be safe than sorry.

That doesn't necessarily mean it hasn't been in an accident.

I'm gonna tell you rite now unless you've driven an srt-4 before your probably not going to be able to tell the difference whether its beat or not. Best advice I can give you is make sure when you shift its smooth and precise. Also when you floor it you should hit around 13-15psi psi than it should drop to around 10-12psi.
