My radio has been staticky lately and my wireless entry remote lost its range. I thought it was the battery at first so I changed them but the range is still the same. I have to literally be next to the car for it to lock/unlock. Is the wireless entry antenna and radio antenna linked together?

first off im old school so i have no idea whats out there right now; im all jl and alpine. okay whats the best thing going as far as rca's are concerned, im running the basic jl connectors but they pick up alot of noise. also getting rid of my alpine in dash for a single din unit being mounted in the glove box. i have an audiocontrol line driver and im looking for a cheaper unit with average parameters, doesnt need to be fancy but needs to have aux inputs. thanks in advance....

old school amp and rack setup

this is one for the folks who are familiar with some of the older stuff. i recently got my hands on a USAmps 5 channel USA-5600 (one of the pre buyout models). i was planning on powering my comps and sub with this. unfortunately i didn't get a manual and there are a few things that i'm not sure about with this amp. the amp is supposed to be 2 amps in 1 case. it has 2 rca inputs but they are labeled as front and rear inputs. there are 5 outputs. the front and rear are pretty logical but which input controls the sub channel? there is also a switch that selects either 2 or 4 inputs. what does this do? are they referring to outputs to the speakers for bridging?

the other thing is i want to mount this to the back of the rear seat in srt. i was planning on an aluminum or wooden mounting board where i can mount the amp, crossovers, fuses, distro blocks etc and then mount that board to the back seat. is this a good idea? can i screw into the back of the rear seat? i don't want to take up trunk floor space as i'd like to maintain some usable room.

any comments on the performance of the amp are welcome. i have only read about this amp (it's not even hooked up yet). unfortunately i don't have the manual or birthsheet so if anyone knows of this somewhere online please post up a link! it's supposed to be rated at 75X4 @4 ohms and 500X1 @1 ohm. it feels pretty light to be handling that sort of power....

thanks in advance.
