I had my srt for 4 years and it is the best car I have had to date. For the past 7 months, I have been hoping to go to college with the help of second career, but it looks like ts not going to happen, so I have to fend for myself and if I want to go to school, im going to have to pay for it myself.

In order for me to do so and still afford to live, some things are going to have to go, mainly the Srt and the $8700 I still owe on it.

This weekend past, most of the aftermarket goodness was removed from the car, and it was returned to stock form. i have a lot of stuff to sell , so keep an eye on the for sale section for the post. I should have it up in a day or so when I figure out what to ask for the parts. It will include stuff like a full form and function ported stage 3 kit with toys, ported intake manifold and dcr tb, psifi large fmic, coil springs, mpx exhaust, mounts, carbon hood, gauges etc...

Im going to be taking the money from the parts and placing it on the loan then selling the car for the remainder of whats owed. thinking back, I should have just sold the car complete, but I was hoping to have the turbo kit sold before my tuition deadline (which is tomorrow at 6pm lol)

You guys are great and I look forward to going to events just the same with whatever pos car i have next.

Cheers
Ed:thumbsup:

Just throwing this out there just in case someone in the GTA happens to have one (new) and wants to sell it:

Mopar Performance clutch for the 03-05 Dodge SRT-4.

This performance clutch is capable of handling about 430 N·m (315 ft.-lbs.) torque, and the torsion disc package exceeds 500 N·m torque capacity before coil bind. It features a racing grade organic friction disc lining with torsion damper disc and a heat-treated pressure plate for higher friction capacity. It provides an O.E.-like smooth engagement and pedal effort.

This brand-new design was developed and built from scratch using all new, high-performance and racing-grade components. This clutch is NOT THE OEM FACTORY clutch, its a higher power holding, MOPAR Performance clutch.

PM me and we'll see where it goes!:readclose
Thanks, Mario

Yeah i know its a little early but it's going to suck up alot of money.......
so i'd like to plan everything as well as i can

My brother in law is going to take classes at a university in Vancouver (will add later wich one:jester:), starting from Januari, so me and my girlfriend would like to use it as an excuse to travel!

We just booked the flight, and will be landing @ Vancouver on 3 may.
From there on we'd like to take her brother on board for a roadtrip, checking everything out that's worth visiting on the eastcoast.......
After 10 days we'll put him on a plane back to Holland.

From there on we plan on traveling towards the eastcoast to finally end up in NewYork for the last couple of days, to catch our plane back to Holland on 28th of may at Newark Intl. New York.

Summarizing what we've come up with so far;
- we'll have like 10 days on the westcoast.
- about 12 days to travel upto the east (with something like Montreal as a destination)
- like 6 days left to travel upto New York, sight-see and leave from there

All in all it will be alot of traveling :readclose :jester:

Now we are planning to rent an RV for the first ten days for the westcoast part, and from there on trade in the rv for a real car, and travel from motel to hotel or whatsoever ;)

Now it may look like i got it all figured out huh.........
but all input is welcome like:

(this list will prolly grow:jester:)
* Stuff we really have to see
* Places that we have to visit
* Where to score the best deals on renting cars and rv's
* Possibility of taking a rental over the border to New York
* Best deals for motels or hotels (we like it comfy)
* best food cöorporations (no i don't like mcdonalds)

appreciate it folks! already got a canada travel guide but its always better to hear stuff from the
people that actually are living there......
Maybe we will even be able to meet someone

Tips on Winter Storage

I've done this before, but now with the car being 5 yrs old, are there more precautions I should take?

Is it best to fill up my tank and put fuel stabalizer?
Over-inflate the tires to avoid flat spots?
What about the hand brake, should I apply the handbrake, or do I risk it seizing up on me after a long period of time not using it?

I've started up my car from just 2 weeks of not driving it (stored in my non-heated garage), and it ran pretty rough for about a minute. Is this because of moisture in the tank? I do not have a lot of gas in my tank.

Help is appreciated.

My Neon SRT-4 after 3 years :)

After 3 perfect years and of noise, I finally was to look for my beautiful Neon SRT-4!! I am to fetch it of a member of the club SRT Quebec to Gatineau, who regrettably had to sell him for such reason, but at least I know that he is going to be treated as a baby. It is a 2004 not-VGA Canadian, guarantee still of the dealer Dodge. Here is little lists her of modifications :

- Tire General Exclaim UHP 215/45/17
- Mopar Stage 1 w/toys (Toys box control)
- ACT street disc clutch kit
- QTP Downpipe 3 " with E / Cut-out
- BFMIC
- AEM wideband
- WG Kinetik
- Mopar Bov
- Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
- MSD wire 8.5mm
- Mopar Stage 1 Coil spring
- Mopar Short throw shifter
- Intake 3" Injen
- Energy suspension bushing
- Energy Motor Mount insert
- Hard Loads

Performance : WHP : 283
                    Engine HP : 325
                    WTQ : 333

In date I am very proud of my purchase and I plan well to keep it for a long time, I like him . Next year I am certainly going to make for him some a esthetic modifications, as all my bulbs forward (Night Lights, Indicators and Fogs) I want to put of Nokya 7000K, and my tips of escape I would like to put myself 3 or 3.5 thumbs style those of Mopar or Borla.

And here are some photos:

I've been thinking about getting some new headlights for my SRT4.I looked on Modern Performance site and seen the Depo projector black headlights that I liked.
Any of you guys have these headlights? quality, do they leak? Anything I should know about them before I buy? They also offer NOKYA H7 super white 70 watt bulbs, the standard bulb that they come with is I think 55 watts.

Got this info from their site about these headlights:

"Depo, a OEM light manufacturer, and the WORLDS largest aftermarket light producer, has designed a new set of headlights for the 03-05 Dodge Neon and 03-05 Dodge SRT4.

This is great news, because we have had great success with this brand, and the quality of lights they produce is very good!

These headlights are a complete replacement for the factory lights, and come preinstalled with new headlight gasket surrounds. These are a direct replacement, and require no cutting, no modification to your car to install.

The low beam is a projector light, that produces a razor sharp light output. The high beam uses a standard reflector. Both low beam and high beam have bulbs preinstalled. You simply connect your factory headlight wiring to these and they will begin working immediately.

Both low beam and high beam use a H7 55 watt bulb."

Thanks guys for any help/input you can offer on these headlights, much appreciated :readclose

So I got pulled over last week in abbotsford. cop said I was doin 100 but I know I wasn't. To make a long story short I got a ticket handed to me for $196. Once got home, I noticed it said I lived in Abbotsford, when I clearly don't, I live in Langley. So I dunno what I should do. Should I try to dispute it for wrong location or just say screw it and pay it. If paided in 30 days of getting the ticket it knocks off $ 25 so works out to $171. So what should I do???

Stopped by Evolution to check up on my car which is coming along quite nicely. These had just come back from porting, the head replacing the failed cylinder head that someone else had ported out too aggressively. Sorry the pics aren't better.

Intake manifold ported and modified for to remove any restriction, this is matched up for the Boomba throttlebody.
