afc neo apex-i question

Im a car dealer and took in on trade a 2003 SRT-4 that has a AFC NEO apex-i controller installed. I cant ge the vehicle to pass smog because there are to many not readys. The smog tech said to have the stock program put back on the car. Can this be done by just unplugging the apex controller? Any help would be great. Also if it make a difference it has a stage 1 emblem on the dash....

Also if this is the wrong discussion forum, please let me know where to post this question....

Thanks in advance.

Ive been having trouble with this one for two weeks now. The ECU will randomly cut fuel/ignition between 6200 and 6400. If it doesent, it will allow me to hit my target limiter. Boost cut is well above my boost pressure. I have been in contact with AEM and we are still working on it. Just seeing if anyone else here has ran into this problem before and if they resolved it.

Items Ive replaced-

Cam sensor and magnet
coils
plugs

Logs upon request.

Its a

DCR option b engine
Their "Race" port head
GT3582r
bc3 cams/springs
1000cc ids
Boost controller is wired into ems
no tip solenoid, wastegate and surge valve, all taken out.

so far on 19lbs its making 495 at 7200rpms(when it does work)

i will eventually have the cash to get an AEM EMS and id like to get one if its worth it. But i think that id be lost. It looks extremely complicated, i wouldnt know what to do or anything, if someone doesnt know alot about engines and how to tune them would it be a waste to get one? Or would i be able to take it to a shop and get them to master it? And in that sense, would it be any more useful than just going and getting a dyno tune? And whats the difference between the 2?

I had to replace my EMS because of a problem. I have a tune on that EMS that I would like to download and then upload that tune to another EMS. How can I do this? Is there a step by step tutorial or instruction on how to do this?

fuel pump prime linked with starter engagement?

I have run into a few issues I'm not sure if they are interlinked.
Im on *aem ems*
I was driving around last night. Got off the freeway and went over a little dip and the car shut off.(I did not hit it hard or anything it just stuck out in my mind as the point at which the car first shut off).
Now the car is being a whore.
--Fuel pump will not prime some times.
--*When fuel pump does not prime the car starter will not engage (will not crank)*
--car will die at idle some times (say if I'm sitting in the garage with the car running while filling block with coolant)
--car hits a wall when i get on it even a little bit. bucks then may or may not die when i return to normal driving.
--car dies while driving sometime.

these are all issues I'm having but the one that is odd to me is the connection between if the pump does not prime then the car will not crank symptom. can some one explain this to me?
