10.5 Elimination run in Gamblers Race. Too much water on the track to hold the rear tires from pulling through for the burnout.

YouTube - Team SRT4 (PTC01) Runs 10.5 at Maryland International Raceway (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqPeFNzJ4zU)

2nd run of the day at MIR prior to our 10.5 elimination run. 11.0 @ 129 MPH leaving in second gear. My bad! Note the little puff of redish/brown smoke. :eeeek:

Team SRT4 smashed its way into the 10's at Maryland International Raceway this evening running a 10.583 at 130.87 MPH on a Darrell Cox Stage 3 setup with a DCR auto Tranny.

The car weighed in at 3150 lbs on the scale after the run. This is a fully dressed street car with full interior, i.e. all seats, floor mats, road maps, owners manual and a collection of CD's. Oh, and a 6 point cage. The only thing removed is the spare tire, jack and accessories, and tire cover. :readclose :readclose :readclose

Time 6:07 PM 15/Nov/2009

60' - 1.646
330 - 4.477
1/8 - 6.834
MPH - 104.48
1000 - 8.865
1/4 - 10.583
MPH - 130.87

Barometric Pressure - 30.05
Elevation - +40'
Air Temp - 62 degrees

Didn't ring the engine out to its peak RPM for this run and put Darrell's tune # 2 in for this run pulling -1 degree of timing out. We still had two more aggressive tunes to go in, but the huge number of cars that turned out today cut the event short. A lot of the outlaw cars that were supposed to run at Virginia Motorsports Park on Saturday made the trip up to MIR today.

Super special thanks to Darrell and all the hard work by all who helped us get into 10's. The car still has more in it Darrell, but we made the grade for the season and look forward to working with you on our new project for 2010.

DCR Project Street 9...

Here it is :eveilgrin. The complete DCR Top End Package. This is what we are doing to go 9s in full dressed street SRT4s . DCR Pro Mod Avenger Head, DCR "Street 9" Turbo Kit, New DCR Avenger "Street 9" Intake Manifold.

Lets start with the DCR "Street 9" Turbo Header. Stainless steel with a unique turbo mounting flange with bolt holes for T-3 and T-4  turbos divided or undivided. We are using the new Precision 46mm Wastegate with this set up. This kit allows for 3 inch, 3.5 inch and 4 inch exhaust :wah?!:. There is enough room to go as large as a 88mm turbo and still shut the hood without any hood clearance issues. It will come with all heat shields, piping, new modifed engine harness, all lines and fittings etc. Fits either 5speed or Auto transmission.

The New DCR "Steet 9" Intake Manifold will be unique due to the reverse flow path of exsisting direct fit LFMIntercoolers. The thottle body will be central mounted from the bottom side of intake plenum. Turbo will feed the drivers side of intercooler and a Tial 50mm blow off valve will be in the charge hot side pipe between turbo and intercooler.

The DCR Pro Mod Avenger Head is standard equipment with this kit.:eveilgrin

This kit allows ease of installation and and uprgrades of turbos is no problem as everything is easy to get to. Power steering and air conditioning is retained and engine is in its stock location. This will still shift as much as 50-80 pounds more weight in front of axle centerline making traction far better.

Here is some pictures as we progress on these kits using legion24 Scott Horner to get started. Pictured is a BullsEye Power S366 Turbo good for 800+whp. There is only a few cars left here at DCR now and almost all of them are going this route.

Here is the list of everyone committed and envolved to DCR Project "Street 9"

Scott Horner (legion24)
Jason Bolyard (BlueSRT4Trouble)
Mike Biehl (Raven)
Jeff Davis
Gino Dion (gdion)
Allen Hampell (Silverflash)
Francisco (littlepvt) Kit and Parts
Robert Wiggins (mightyxwhitey53)

We will be updating as we move fast here on Scotts car and will be addressing every detail. Each car will be dyno tested and tracked!

NEW External Wastegate AVAILABLE

44mm- Ha- How about the new 46mm external wastegate?!?!?!

The PW46 was designed to be a direct replacement for the other existing 44mm wastegate flanges, but will work best with the flange provided. THe PW46 features a Nickel Chromium Alloy valve and 5 different 17-7 precipitation hardened springs. Also included are stainless steel inlet and outlet flanges with clamps. With a satin black anodized, 6061 aluminum billet wastegate cap to have years of good looks and protection from the elements. It is compatible with most aftermarket electronic boost controllers on the market today.

This is a hot new option to add to your DCR Pro Series Turbo Kit or External Gate for your Stage 3 setup. Let us know how we can help you get started on your turbo kit with the new 46mm external wastegate.
