hey idk if the foglights are part of this switch or not but when i switch my headlights on my foglight led comes on even though i didnt pull on the foglight switch but if i push it the light goes away let go of it and it comes back not a real issue because my foglights are hooked up straight to the battery and to a relay thats wired to a little flipswitch thats under the far left vent but its just annoying that its on cause if i hit a bump it like flickers and stuff i dont know if the little pop in pop out switch is just old and not closing or if the mfs is indeed screwed up? but it only does it with my headlights on if i have the parking lights on and i switch the fogs on the led indicator doesnt come on. can some one post pics on where exactly the MFS is so i know i pull out the right thing.

Well yesterday night i was cruzin from carbondale,IL to murphysboro, IL and almost hit a HUGE buck. This was the closest ive ever been to hitting a deer and without my retros i would hit this thing for sure. I was basically going threw a swooping turn @ 50mph and out of nowhere i see like "running legs" and it comes up onto the road and just stops in my lane(2 lane road) im on the brakes hard at that point and then swerve around him just in time. I was probably 3-5 feet away when i was swerving around him. I just though i would share my story of my awesome retros paid them self's off in about 3 seconds :readclose

I have had 3 sets of retros on my car over its 5 years life span and I am about to take the plung on set number 4.

The first 3 sets were made by BoostJunkies:stab:
set 1 (TSX) = leaked...replaced
set 2 (TSX) = leaked...returned for credit toward TL's
set 3 (TL) = leaked...he disappeared

Now I am moving on to a set made by ND4SPD. I am trying to figure out if I want to stick with TL's or switch to E55's. Also trying to figure out wat other options to do (demon eye is a consideration).

Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!

A picture for reference...

My right turn directional freaks out every once in a while, blinking at a very high rate. I noticed that the right rear light does not operate when this happens. Weird thing is, no blown fuse, no blown bulb. No luck searching as of this post. Any thoughts?

Currently I have a plug N play 8k HID set for my headlights. I have been getting flashed alot for my lights being too bright, and i drove by my car at night with the lights on and I couldnt really see anything it was so bright.

So I want to convert my HID's to have a high beam mode too... can this be done by just changing out the ballasts?

who on here sells good HID accessories?

First off I'd like to thank Crystal for her write up which made me able to do this. I'm not sure if hers were designed a little different than mine (I went with the cheaper ones) but there were 2 steps that I did not have to do to complete the mod. One of my resistors in the pre-wired led actually broke so I had to get a 560ohm resistor and solder that into the circuit along with all the other soldering required. The first one took me about 60 minutes (mostly due to the resistor breaking, and the 2nd about 10-15 minutes. Here's some pics, they will be on the car as soon as I go home for thanksgiving break.

Need Help Wiring Aftermarket Boost gauge

U have a glowshift white 7 color boost gauge, and the install was easy but i was trying to do the wiring for the lights and it was effin me up. i did add a circuit and grounded the black wire, yellow is a constant 12 volt source so i put that to an add a circuit for my foglights, and the orange and purple wires need to be togethor for a switched 12v source so i put that to my sunroof. when i would put the key in the ignition and turn it to accessory mode the gauge would light up. turn the lights on and the lights would go out and it would buzz.tried switching them around with a bunch of different fuses couldnt get it.
any help please?

aeroforce scangauge - bored of the green display???

There it is - the brandnew scangauge. Let's hack that thing!
Image: http://lh5.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6J6s4Uk-I/AAAAAAAAH9M/zEUiUcBvgsU/s800/P1100474.JPG

First remove the bezel and the lens (hmmm, somewhere in the forums is a nice way shown with a flat screwdriver.).
Be carefull not to bend it to much - you can see that later!
Image: http://lh6.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6KAhyVv8I/AAAAAAAAH9Q/2VELRCfTw3o/s800/P1100476.JPG

Okay, thats the "before" - green light
Image: http://lh4.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6KC7BC3BI/AAAAAAAAH9U/3L0yjYJq8a0/s800/P1100479.JPG

Carefully separate the circuit boards from eachother and remove the display.
(Display is soldered with 2 pins to the upper and connected with a flat cable to the lower board.
Image: http://lh5.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6KF78PLKI/AAAAAAAAH9Y/fXXrg5_wmzg/s800/P1100483.JPG

Carefully remove the with sticker from the display backside
Image: http://lh4.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6KKujL4NI/AAAAAAAAH9c/cP0AjrPWfeU/s800/P1100485.JPG

Now you can see the 2 very small leds
Image: http://lh4.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6KPY-wOoI/AAAAAAAAH9g/022ZT_Gqxwg/s800/P1100487.JPG

You can trust me: They are VERY small and you need a very small soldering needle, very thinn solder and good experiences with soldering that small smd parts.
Don't try that if you never worked with smd leds before! You must solder very quick and you will destroy the leds or even the display in no second!!!
Take care that you solder them in right direction (you see the marked corner?)
Image: http://lh4.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6Ka4R-bsI/AAAAAAAAH9k/7FgiE9LSzPI/s800/P1100488.JPG

And if you did everything right it will look like mine (or maybe in an other color??)
Image: http://lh4.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6Kd42q9xI/AAAAAAAAH9o/CA_tX0C6Ihk/s800/P1100489.JPG

Yeah i love that bright blue!
Image: http://lh6.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6KfWGqpSI/AAAAAAAAH9s/dLYnDFqWrY8/s800/P1100491.JPG

The finished pod with black surface (simple vinyl)
Image: http://lh6.ggpht.com/_08Eqp0neK6c/Sv6KhtQVlMI/AAAAAAAAH9w/v-uqYpWAPpM/s800/P1100493.JPG

It is also possible to have it blue with white letters, but that is professional league - therefor you must also change the display polarizing filter film.
And THAT is a freaking PITA!!!
:wah?!:
