I have a 2001 RT with a total 04 SRT swap. The issue I'm having is that at idle, there is some big time turbo surge. At first I thought maybe my Raptor BOV needed adjustment, but after looking at it, it's the turbo. Has anybody else ever had this problem? I've looked all over and can't seem to find anyone that has seen this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a stage 2 injectors, 3.0 bar and tip, ported everything except turbo, and head. 3in ex, 3in o2 housing, agp wga, greddy bov, cai, pretty much all the staples. I want to go back to computer controlled boost. so number one which is the route everybody would go with my setup? then number two, which route should i go? Should I keep the agp or trade for an fm?

well ... (possibly) another srt gone. sorry fellas. wrecked the srt on I-95 last night. thankfully, im ok. cant say the same for the car. havnt found out yet, but pretty sure the insurance co. will total it. however, i love this car more than so many things and waited 7 years to finally get one. need some advice and opinions from you guys whether you think its rebuildable or not. theres alot of sentimental value behind this car so im willing to spend a few grand to fix some of these major problems you'll see in the pics below, mainly frame damage. btw, i was at fault, i learned my lesson big time. and possibly the hard way so, no need for any flaming. if you guys want the story i guess i could type up the "book"

anyway, although i am heartbroken over the doubtfulness of being able to restore the car, i am very thankful i am still here and truly amazed that i walked away from the accident without a scratch. i have NO IDEA how it happened. as i said before, i've learned my lesson and i intend on driving any of my "toys" more responsibly, maturibly (if thats a word), and smart.

thanks for all the help anyone gives me! my biggest concerns is obviously both right and lower, upper and lower frame rails. what,d ya guys think?

Well heres my story from last nite, I was crusing along 210 freeway minding my own business till I look over to my left I see a silver SRT4. He was popin' spoilin' his car (taunting me) bov and all. To my knowledge he had DP and a single exhaust system with a after market IC...My car: BOV AEM SRI with a Hurst SS...the dude was about 45 60 yards infront of me after he passed me then I started to catch up and there he GOES downshifts and POP SPOIL we went at it, I PULLED ON HIM a quater pass my fender through out 3rd 4th gear. I rolled down the window and gave him the :thumbsup:...passenger guy flips me off :flame: WTF? so I mind my own business again till I thought about it and said FUCK IT lets do this NECK TO NECK the whole way then i let off...soo the moral to this story is that his car sounds LOUD it POPS all this after marker parts but yet my almost stock SRT4 is right there with out the LOUD annoying sound and the hundereds of dollars in upgrades...I GAVE MY CAR PROPS :clap: I know some will blow me away but this dude thought his car was the shit...I respect other SRT4 owners :thumbsup: I wouldn't flip him off cause a almost stock SRT4 is running right next to you...just thought i would share this with you guys...

ok i have a 04 srt-4 recently my ecu went out so i bought a stage 1 ecu had my vin programmed in it.than it would start run for a minute than die. pulling a skim key code.. so i towed my car to the stealership to get it programmed and it took the code away but still does the same thing.it will start up run for a few seconds and die and when i try to tap on the gas it sputters and dies
any ideas?

I have a water leak somewhere. I thought I had fixed the problem but my floors still are getting wet.

Today I am going to try and find the sunroof drain tubes and blow them out reverse. Im also going to take the spoiler off and seal around the holes.

I just put the mopar 3d tails in a couple weeks ago and thought If I just took the foam off the oe tails and put them on the mopar tails I would be fine, but I think water is leaking there also.

Ive gotta get rid of the musty smell it is driving me crazy.

Ill let everyone know how it turns out after my garden hose water leak test later today.

Well I got this 3 cels p1697 stands for emr (sri) mieleage not stored? What does that mean ? P1188 I read that I need a stage 1 and the other one is that. Soppousely a vaccum leak. But everything seems tight and zip tied help please

I understand the SRT-4 is a super car, but I just got my 04 stock srt-4 and intend on using it as my DD but I'm about 90% done with my gas tank of Super 93 octance gas That i filled up and I am on pace to get ~150 miles to the tank. even if the tank is roughly what, 10gallons? thats still around 15mpg and I was expecting about double that. Any ideas or advice as to why this maybe? truth is i got the car and it has 1/4 of gas in it (not sure what kind of oct.) and i filled it up myself to the top with super... Hope there's something u guys can think of bc I was expecting to use this as my DD...

ok ill try to describe this the best i can.. sometimes when the car is in idle the vacuum will creep up and flucuate between 18 and 10 sometimes lower. normally it will sit at 20.. when it does this the rpms start to flucuate as well.. anywhere from 500 to 1000 the car wounds like it has a cam kinda but its a bad sound not a good one. kinda like normal idle sound then duh duh duh duh normal duhh duhh duhh duhh lol bad description i no.. sometimes it almost even comes close to dying.. sometimes when im driving it will do it too.. any ideas?? tps? plugs? car does have 41k on it and i got it with 13k and havnet changed them yet.. please help thank you :)

alright well heres the thing, my car idles just fine, but occasionally i get a weird surge in power when im just casually accelerating, and then ping code pops mentions the MAP/TPS somethin. (ill post the actual code tomorrow when i read it)
so i figured it was the map sensor, so i replaced the map and rewired the connector, and i figured it was all good. i tested the car 3 times, and took it up to about 140 at WOT. today i was cruising right around 60 slowly building up, and ding the code popped again. pissed me off and started searching around, and found this 03-05 SRT4 owners - Have Check Engine Codes P0121, P0122, P0123 ? i dont have the fog light switch on my car that pulls out to turn on the fog lights is there any way to wire them to turn on with my lights or do i have to buy the srt one?
