Default Cheapest '04 SRT pricing in socal?

Yo guys,

was able to order my '04 Blue SRT with Sunroof (just Viper Inspired High Back seats - no airbag) for 20,749$ (selling price, includes destination charge)..

Anybody else here ordered it for cheaper than that?

Dealership was NORCO FRAHM DODGE - Kim Melanson..

nothing wrong with the SPEC, but I want a TURBO.. There's two turbo's out for it now pushing around 230-260 WHP (SSR and FIR).. But considering I live in the good old SOCAL, it has to be CARB excempted to be legal (i don't want any problems with smog checks or the law, shiny intercoolers is kinda a dead giveaway).. If I live anywhere else, I would have kept it..

I talked to Kim Melanson - she is the Commercial Fleet Manager for that dealership.. (called her on the phone then swung by an hour later).. She said I'll have my VON on monday..

Oh yeah, I didn't have to pay a deposit..

if you don't believe me, call em up on monday and talk to fleet sales.. how much you want to bet you'll be able to order it for the same price?

The first thing I learned about buying a car is to avoid the sales droids / sales manager all together and head directly to fleet sales.

BTW, i'm also 28 years old - not a young'in so that might have something to do with it also.

how about a favor? if you can post pix of all the paper work (if you dont mind) showing the final price with destination fees and everything included, then some of us can use that as ammuition when we go in to the "battle" with the sales rep. It would be nice if you can do that for us. I went and got an estimate and the blue '04 with sunroof and viper inspired seats (no airbags) with destination charge included came out to 21,690! MSRP is $20,450 plus $545 destination and $695 for the sunroof. thanx for your help

Did you talk to the sales droid / sales manager or fleet sales?

will do, she said she is mailing me the paperwork once she puts the order in on monday (I'm also supposed to get the VON on monday too, something to do with them not being able to do orders on weekends).

whats fleet sales? i spoke to a normal sales rep which im guessing is the sales droid. He's actually a very nice guy, told me he'd take $1000 dollars off an 03 model AND install a sunroof for free if he could talk me out of ordering an 04 model. i said NO...i want '04! so as soon as you get the pix up, im calling him and telling him that i have proof. Ill even tell him that im willing to drive to another state if i can get it for that price maybe he'll budge and let it go for cheap so he doesnt lose the sale. ill even walk out of the dealer and tell him to call me if he changes his mind...
