Well, try sucking through a 2.5" tube vs a 3". The turbo inlet is a 3" and when you try to suck through a 2.5" its just going to cause a restriction. Turbos move tons of air, and you don't want to have all sorts of restrictions and size changes.
It will work since you already have it, but for people who haven't bought anything yet, get a 3" intake.
We have used both 650 and 750 injectors with stage 2 ecus without an issue.
