I studied this diagram for about 20 minutes before installation. After running, sodering/connecting what I thought was the power/ground did I finally realize It was wrong. The pic says 16 gauge for both power and solenoid. 18 gauge black wire for ground. If memory serves correct, 16 gauge is a bigger wire than 18 gauge? So the ground wire is actually the 16 gauge and the solenoid is the 18 gauge. The fact that the two black and red wires were paired also helped me make this mistake. If the black wire has to be split in order to run to engine bay then why pair them? 2 hrs down drain so I am just frustrated. I realize the diagram is correct but its the gauge of the wires that are wrong. Unless it's just the wire package I got?
