Nope. I have a code scrubber on my car. Actually, I have all 4 products on my car. Code scrubber, WOT Box, Boost Box, and Toybox 2.0.

You can attach the yellow wire before or after the scrubber. You can use the same splice.

I would recommend putting it at the splice after the scrubber, i.e. more towards the car harness, rather than towards the OBD port. That way the Boost Box will still function if you unplug the scrubber for some reason.

For reference, that should be the green wire:
