They are hiring Cadets only at the moment because they HAVE to be hired by a certain date or they can sue. I already passed the test for them once before and was ready to go into the academy but decided to finish my B.S. degree first. Took the test and should be hearing from them sometime soon. I believe they only hire you if you live in new york :S
