I could not get it off, and had to have my friend pull it back while I tightened the bolt for the mount
also, did you have any difficulty fitting the tourque wrench past the A/C lines on the upper mount?
It was quite easy to get the shield off actually. There are 3 10mm bolts and 2 plastic pin things. Those were kind of a PITA to remove but i just pushed them through with needle nose pliers.
I didn't torque, just used "good n tight" :]
