Never tried a stock pcm, but my stg2 car was electronically limited to 155mph. Pcm controlled everything, as soon as it hit 155, it dropped the boost to 7-8psi, like clock work.

Good news is my stg3 pcm is not electronically limited. 170mph is obtainable.
