Heres what I did with my retro that I finished last night. When I opened the depos, I put masking tape over the factory sealant. This protects it from anything contaminating it. WHen I resealed them last night I used a heat gun to soften it up. Pushed the lens back on, then ran some window weld ribbon around it and smushed it all around the headlight. The headlight gasket covers it so you dont even see it. Im taking the car out now in the snow and rain to see if any condensation builds up. I doubt it though.
