They (bc) both use a 3/8's Rod Bolt. Period. BC does not make a 7/16's rod bolt, and they wont custom make one (i have called) ....Crower runs a 7/16's rod bolt size. Thats BIG! They are the best, hands down. Theres a reason there nearly double.
Any way you slice it even the upgraded BC's still use a 3/8's....to me it doesnt matter how much stronger it is, its still a 3/8's....But then again im not a engine builder.
Good luck, if you can spare it i would go with the Crowers, TKMS has them for 744 or 830 shipped, i think. You can pm him, I guarentee his price is as LOW as they can be sold. GL.

The purpose of ignition advance is to account for the lag time following spark ignition for combustion pressure to peak at 15 degrees AFTER TOP DEAD CENTER. A little fyi  !
