use the mothers 3 step process
dry
add the dressing and bam! done, takes about 5 hrs depending how many times you have the use step 2 i usually add about 2 coats of step 2. then step 3 which is a wax so any good wax would do in its place if you already have one.
that the best I think you can do before buying stuff that is not usually at your local auto parts store.
