Default Somethings broken..

Or about to break. Thank god i saved for a turbo kit. I was driving last night and as i got off the freeway i heard a clunk clunk clunk type noise coming from somewhere up front. (Axels? Sway bars? No clue really.) I've heard this sound before. If i'm in park, and i turn all the way to the right and push on the gas i get this same noise. Well the noise happened right when i got off, and i was like oh shit what was that. So i stop at the light, and start to accelerate and it does it again. I was on a slight hill. It seems to be much worse on hills. So i'm driving up a slight hill and the car does it again, but doesnt stop. You know that noise people can do when they snap their tounge? Its like that over and over and over. So now i'm trying to diagnose and heres some good info. I'm traveling up a slight hill, its making the noise in 2nd gear, i shift into 3rd, yes, 4th, yes, 5th, NO. 1st NO. Also if i push in the clutch while its making the noise the noise stops. Is this my transmission!?! So i park the car, Well yada yada i parked at my buddies house and we went inside. Get back out to leave, no noise. This morning, on my way to work. It did it as i pulled out of my house, then nothing the rest of the way.
WTF is going on? Any ideas?
