I really want to like the idea of touchscreen controls if not for easier cleaning, then for the future-y appeal, but I would never rely on it.
Considering the way I treat some of my peripherals from time to time, coupled with how many times I've shattered my touchscreen cell phone from pressing too hard, I would never invest in the technology.
